Worship is life

It seems like every day there are more and more things placed on our schedules.   Between the demands of Job, Family, and trying to find some sort of personal space there doesn't seem like there is any time for church.

Why should anyone make time for worship?  Because worship is life.  Gathering together in Christian community as the body of Christ reminds of the God's unconditional promises to us, and gives us a chance to experience In Christian community the fullness of Christ that all creation longs for. Worship is a chance for us to connect with the life affirming love of Christ.

What does Worship at Crossroads look like?

We use the liturgical pattern that was formed in the worship of the early church and is used by many congregations today.  In each service at Crossroads there will be confession, a kyrie, communion, and many other elements that will be familiar to people who have attended liturgical congregations before.  However we have tried to present this in a way that is relevant to today.

Worship Is:

Relevant  - We want living Faith to matter in your everyday life. We have taken the history of the faith back to the book of ACTS in the Bible and translated it for today's culture. Our hope is you leave worship remembering the message, singing the songs, and feeling empowered.

Open  - All people are welcome at Crossroads. We know it is difficult to worship with children, but at Crossroads you don't have to worry about how they will behave. We know that for those who have not been to church in years or ever, it is difficult to make the decision to worship on a Sunday morning. Come as you are, and we promise that no matter where that is for you on life's journey - God will meet you there through the people of this ministry.

Sacramental  - Holy Communion is served every Sunday at Crossroads, and the table is open for all people of all ages, backgrounds, and life situations who wish to receive forgiveness and strength through Christ's body and blood. Baptism is a gift from God for infants, youth, and adults, and is lifted up and celebrated during regular worship.
