In order to share the Good News that God is at work in our lives we at Crossroads try to practice the discipline of reaching beyond ourselves. Participation in weekly worship and living in community shape our lives in ways that ground our lives and allow us to live in both the joy and sorrow of life. God's promise that changes our life is for all of creation and we work at extending the invitation to the people in our community.
During the season of lent we sent out flyers with pocket crosses on them. Each week we will be praying for the flyers we send out. We delivered 150-200 a week and also invited members of the congregation to give them out to their friends and neighbors.
We also participated in the Indian Land Elementary School fair where we handed out information on our church and Day Camp.
We are currently planning a summer outreach plan.
